This new paleo diet I’m on in amazing. Literally amazing.
Like I said in the last post, I have more energy, I’ve dropped a whole lot of body fat, and I just feel healthier all the time.
But I’ve just hit my first major road block with it: Ketosis.
APPARENTLY, it’s what happens when you start to burn body fat to make energy.
It has various side effects for different people but it turns out the one that I get it debilitating stomach cramps.
It feels like there’s some kind of animal running around in my belly and in order to stop it, my stomach is trying to squash it – over and over and over again.
Funnily enough, the only way to stop it is to eat carbs. I need to eat pasta, rice noodles, or bread and it goes away.
So now I have an excuse to eat all the things I like but have barely touched in 2 months.
FAIL = WIN!
