Construction, Automation, and Bali

Posted on February 9, 2012

There’s been a huge amount going on since the last update.

I’ve finished the automation sequences for my website and things are running smoothly. Conversion rates aren’t anywhere near what I want them to be but I’m still pulling in enough traffic to ensure the low conversion rates are adequate to keep the company afloat.

I just cracked the 60,000 visitors / month mark last night so traffic is holding strong. The site a a bit of a dip a few days ago with the last Google update but it seems as though everything is back on track again.

BUT… The big news is that I quit my day job, I’m making enough money from my site to do it full time, I’m starting my lifestyle design adventure.

My girlfriend and I are going to Bali for 2 months to live, work, and play.

We leave in 8 weeks and there’s still a lot to do on the site to get it fully functional and making the money that I need to create the future I want.

I’m still working on two different optin banners to increase the initial subscription rate to my site. I’ve got two WordPress specialists trying to put everything together but it’s just taking time.

I’m also about to hire a copy writer to clean up the content on my site so it converts better. I know I have an amazing message but I’m just not great to conveying it in a way that grabs people.

That’s all for now. More updates to come in the future.
